To begin working with Visceral Concepts on your project, you would need to answer a few questions about your company, your current situation, and your current needs regarding the nature of what you want to be done.

There’s no need to bring any specific information with you to a consultation, as we won’t be running credit checks or asking for detailed company history.

In most cases, after a consultation, you’ll need to fill out a questionnaire, accept an estimate, sign an agreement, and place a non-refundable down payment.

While it is the policy of many website developers to require expensive long-term maintenance contracts, we don’t.

We don’t believe in forcing our clients to sign a long-term website maintenance contract in order to have their site built. We want our clients to have the products and packages that are right for them. So, while we offer a generously inexpensive maintenance contract, we don’t require that any of our clients sign up for it.

We never ask for social security numbers, tin numbers, bank account information, or any other sensitive data for our records.

All credit card payments are processed through Stripe. Your credit card information is neither read nor stored by our servers.

We do not sell or share your email addresses or any other data that we collect. However, some site activities are tracked by 3rd party services like Facebook.

Turnaround time on a project varies on a project-by-project basis.

Here is a basic outline of project completion expectations.

• Websites (without ecommerce): 45-60 days.
• Websites (with ecommerce): 60-90 days.
• Single Item Graphic Design (Logos or single pictures): 1-2 weeks.
• Multi-item Graphic Design (Brochures, Print Ads, Flyers): 2-3 weeks.
• Advertisement Campaign Development: 3-6 weeks.

Some factors, like delays in communication or information requetst, can extend these timeframes.

While we will be happy to walk you through the process, we want you to retain control of your website properties.

By putting domain registration and hosting in your hands, we guarantee that’s the case.

The copyrights to all original content created for your project – including logos & print copy – are yours.

All stock photography copyrights belong to their respective creators subsequent to the stock photo license.

Any software used will have its individual copyright information included.

Software, systems, and other copyrightable information that we developed independently of your project and used in the development of your project will remain ours.

We use our paperless Client Portal system to handle all billing/invoicing, messaging & notifications, and file transfers.

You will also be notified of messages, invoices, and available files via email.

All files and past invoices will be available for download from your client portal for up to 1 year after the termination of business with us.

In most cases, we’ll fix it with no questions asked.

We can not warranty any faults in custom software that arise due to improper use. This only applies to software delivered with a “Recommended Best Practices” fact sheet, which will be customized to the nature of your product and your organization. If these best practices are not followed, any problems created as a result will not be covered by warranty.

We offer complete support in many forms to make sure your company stays up and running

We offer telephone-based support and troubleshooting at no cost to our clients.

We also offer packages for continued in-person support, allowing scheduled meetings and service visits to occur at no additional cost.

One-time training is included with every custom software or website at no additional cost. We also offer training materials customized and branded to your organization, including training manuals and training videos.

We can also develop a complete training system that integrates both the video and manuals and will be customized to your company’s individual policies and procedures.
